Students Win Central Michigan University New Venture Challenge
After months of hard work put into the creation of WoMa Bazaar, Erin Markovicz (CEO/Co-founder) and Emily Worline (Co-founder) won second place in the Main Street category and the Middle Michigan Development Corporation Grant a total of $7000 in startup funds.
Erin Takes the Lead
After Co-founder Emily graduated Central Michigan University and moved back to her hometown she decided that it was best for her to step down as an owner of WoMa Bazaar in order to focus on her other career goals. Although she is not an owner anymore she still is super supportive of WoMa Bazaar. Since then Erin has taken the lead of WoMa and is now the CEO and is continuing to move the business forward.
WoMa Bazaar Wins Downtown Pitch Community Vibrancy Award
In hopes of providing proof of concept to future investors and the community, WoMa Bazaar is hosting a festival in September 2023 which is what the community vibrancy funds will be allocated for.
